COSTUME DESIGN

In my costume design for this production, I aimed to recreate the 1930s aesthetic look, thus add elements that appear as magical on stage. We recycled vintage clothing, mostly by affixing decorative elements from vintage evening dresses to create a look that takes the audience back in time. For the final scene, I wanted to create a visual image where ‘Miami meets 1930’s’. Some of my costume sketches of this scene are included in my website section ‘Drawing’.
